Daily Routine

Having a daily routine brings comfort and consistency to a child's life resulting in helping them feel safe and confident to take on new challenges as well as developmental tasks. This is why I ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous adult/child led activities.

Examples of  Daily Menu & Activities

When preparing menus/meals, I do like to involve the children as much as possible as it is important to create a healthy relationship with food in the early years and for children to learn about making healthy choices.Apart from daily preparation, We do also have a 'baking day' on a Wednesday every two weeks where we would make different treats depending on the time of year and theme for the term. I do also like to have birthday cake/alternatives for those with allergies/intolerance's for each child's birthday and we celebrate with a little party.
